Group/Team: Business Development Group

Reports To: Group Leader

Nationality: Local – Vietnamese / Other Nationality (Except Korean)


(1) Job Description

Approach and development external Japanese Customers: Corporate with Air Consolidation operation to find and develop potential Japanese customers for lightweight cargo.


(2) Role & Responsibility:

• Develop new business for the Company through approaching new business customers.

• Develop a new business prospect listing to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance.

• Corporate with Air Consolidation operation to find potential Japanese customers for lightweight cargo.

• Support and work closely with Air Consolidation operation for general/ heavy weight cargo.

• Being responsible for securing and maintaining new business.

• Meet and exceed targets set to contribute and generate revenue for the Department.

• Contributing to improving the best sales practices and strategic approach to an account.

• Providing customer service and resolving client issues quickly and efficiently.

• Negotiating selling rates with clients as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.

• Managing and controlling Profit/ Loss for assigned customers.

• Represent the company and its policies to the clients.

• Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present to the Company and its products and services.

• Support members in the Team when required.

• Other duties as and when assigned by Leaders.

(a) EDUCATION / QUALIFICATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree or above, significant in Logistics, Supply chain, or Business filed.

• Excellent English and Japanese/ or Chinese language communication skill


(b) EXPERIENCE:

• At least 10 years working experience in Logistics field

• Prefer working experience in Japanese Logistics Company.


(c) SKILLS:

• Proficient in Microsoft applications: Good at Excel, Words, Power Point…

• Good time management skill

• A solid knowledge of Air Cargo Sales

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good problem-solving skills and ability to handle conflicts

• Able to work under pressure, in a fast-paced environment

• Positive attitude, able to be multi-tasked


(d) CERTIFICATION:

• Relevant certifications in Logistics or Air Freight (e.g., IATA, FIATA) are a plus.
