Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research and Analysis:
• Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and
threats in the payment services industry and related sectors (e.g., BNPL,
POS payments, B2B solutions, white-label e-wallets, etc.).
• Analyze competitors and industry benchmarks to identify gaps and
opportunities.
2. New Business Development:
• Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, including new
service offerings and market expansion.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new clients and partners,
focusing on innovative payment solutions.
3. Partnership Development:
• Build and maintain relationships with potential partners, including banks,
merchants, and fintech companies.
• Negotiate partnership agreements that align with the company’s goals and
create mutually beneficial outcomes.
4. Sales Strategy and Execution:
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan that reflects the company's
objectives for growth and expansion.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns to
promote new services and partnerships.
• Provide support and training to the sales team regarding new offerings to
ensure seamless transition from lead generation to conversion.
5. Stakeholder Communication:
• Act as the primary point of contact for external partners and internal
stakeholders regarding new business initiatives.
• Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to prospective clients,
highlighting the benefits of your services.
6. Performance Tracking and Reporting:
• Monitor the performance of new initiatives and partnerships, providing
regular updates to senior management.
• Prepare reports and presentations on business development activities and
outcomes, using data to inform strategy adjustments.
• Provide feedback from the market to influence the product development
process.
7. Continuous Learning and Development:
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and advancements
in payment technologies.
• Attend relevant conferences and seminars to network and gain insights
into industry best practices.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is typically preferred; MBA is a plus
• At least 03-05 years of experience in business development or sales or related field, preferably in financial services, payments, or fintech.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong negotiation and partnership-building skills
• Fluent in English
• Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, …)
