The E-merchandise lead is responsible for strategizing e-merchandise methods to reach traffic and conversion targets on e-commerce platforms. E-merchandise leads evaluate the current market trends, integrating them into the creative strategy for on-site displays to enhance brand visibility and maximize customer engagement. A merchandise lead must have excellent communication and organizational skills, especially in helping with marketing and promotional campaigns to attract consumers' interests and meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and mentor the e-merchandising team, fostering a collaborative environment.
- Develop and implement account management strategies and business plans to grow the group of 4 brands.
- Encourage innovative thinking and the sharing of best practices to drive continuous improvement within the team.
- Facilitate team meetings and brainstorming sessions to ensure alignment on goals and strategies.
E-Merchandising Strategy
- Develop and implement strategies for product assortment, placement, and promotions to optimize online sales and enhance customer experience.
- Analyze market trends and customer behavior to inform merchandising decisions.
Content/Concept Management
- Oversee the creation and management of compelling product descriptions, images, and other content to enhance product visibility and appeal.
- Ensure that all product listings are accurate, up-to-date, and optimized for search engines.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Brand teams and e-KAMs teams to ensure alignment with brand identity and campaign goals to support long-term growth of e-stores.
- Build strong relationships with e-commerce platforms to update new platform initiatives, integrating them into the creative strategy for on-site displays and visibilities.
Performance Analysis
- Determine performance metrics and deliver comprehensive trend knowledge & industry insight to drive Brands performance in terms of traffic, shopper experiences, E-Commerce share, ranking of brand within platform, brand penetration in E-Commerce and year-over-year growth.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on merchandising performance for Head of E-commerce.
Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree in marketing, E-commerce, creative or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in E-merchandising, minimum 1 year of managing team.
