Core responsibilities
• Lead or contribute to projects focused on introducing new technologies and improving equipment processes, following the LEGO project model and DQP model.
• Collaborate with R&D and related teams during technology development, improvement, and qualification phases by providing input to technical specifications, defining conditions, and actively participating in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT), while working with R&D to validate overall test results.
• Serve as a technology test driver, evaluating test outcomes, troubleshooting issues, and sharing progress updates with R&D, while proactively identifying challenges and opportunities.
• Partner with the Global Platform team to engage suppliers and stakeholders, resolve disagreements, and escalate issues to relevant line leaders or the Steering Committee (StC) when necessary.
• Oversee and manage the technology ramp-up process, continuously monitoring machine performance and key performance indicator (KPI) trends.
• Initiate development and design processes for new technologies, including creating layouts and documentation.
• Work closely with the Global Platform team and Maintenance department to support the rollout of new technologies across operations.
• Consistently drive progress toward project deliverables and align with the organization’s key performance metrics.
Core responsibilities
The NPI Equipment Manager works in the NPI department, focusing primarily on introducing new technologies, serving as an interface between operations and engineering, and supporting technology rollout.
This role involves close collaboration with other departments and plants, particularly R&D, on activities related to testing and qualifying machinery for new technology implementation, as well as setting up and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Do you have what it takes
• At least 4 years of experience in equipment maintenance and equipment management
• At least 2 years of project management experience, showing you can lead and deliver.
• A degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering is preferred
• A strong track record in optimizing machines and driving improvements.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked on continuous improvement (CI) projects.
• Have a passion for modern technologies and innovative consumer trends.
• A proactive, ambitious, and determined approach to getting things done.
• Comfortable reading and understanding technical drawings (like AutoCAD or 3D models).
• Willingness to travel for business purposes
