RESPONSIBLITIES
Daily tasks
• Check customer requirements on Outlook.
• Read and understand the requirements for each project.
• Plan and control your own assignment.
• Use specific software/Bluebeam/Plan Swift/PDF Xchange Editor software to do the jobs.
• Generate BOMs/Quotation/Bidding and marked-up plans
• Ensure the accuracy of Quantity
• Inform Project Lead/Manager about the status of assignment, including aligning expectations about time and quality.
• Self-evaluate and provide feedback to others and report on issues, changes, risks, and quality concerns to team leader.
• Keep all work history on server.
• Strong timeline management
• Technical knowledge within the discipline(s) the Estimator/Engineer works with
• Control relevant norms, rules, and guidelines within the discipline the Estimator/Engineer works with
• Contribute to successful communication and cooperation in the company.
REQUIREMENTS AND EXPECTATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in product, project, or support engineer role.
• At least 2 years as an estimator role
• Software: Bluebeam, Plan Swift, AutoCAD is advanced.
• Self-check of own work, carefully, responsibility, listening, receptive and long-term association.
• English referable
• Demonstrated ability to solve difficult problems.
• Familiar with U.S Projects (Residential or Commercial).
• Experience working with team members in multiple countries and across several time zones (off- shore contracted engineering, international builders.)
• Working knowledge of MS Project, or equivalent
