The Opportunity:

As we expand our capabilities, we are seeking a talented and ambitious Lead ArchiCAD Architect to lead the development of our ArchiCAD team.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and driven ArchiCAD architect to take a leading role in establishing and growing our dedicated ArchiCAD team. The successful candidate will be instrumental in setting up workflows, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful delivery of a diverse range of architectural projects, initially smaller in scale with the potential to expand to larger, more complex ventures over time. You will have the chance to shape the future of our ArchiCAD capabilities and make a significant impact on our practice.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of ArchiCAD standards, workflows, and best practices within the company.

• Serve as the primary ArchiCAD expert, providing technical guidance and support to project teams.

• Take ownership of projects from concept design through to construction documentation, utilizing advanced ArchiCAD skills.

• Communicate directly and professionally with clients in English to understand their needs, present design concepts, and provide project updates.

• Work independently on initial projects while also fostering a collaborative team environment.

• Mentor and guide junior architects and BIM modelers in ArchiCAD, promoting their professional growth and skill development.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest ArchiCAD features, industry trends, and BIM methodologies, and proactively share knowledge with the team.

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our design and documentation processes.

• Collaborate effectively with other disciplines, including engineers and contractors.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Architect with advanced proficiency in ArchiCAD.

• Demonstrable experience in leading the ArchiCAD workflow on architectural projects.

• Good written communication skills in English, with the ability to confidently interact with international clients.

• Strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and construction processes.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and prioritize tasks.

• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach with a strong attention to detail.

• Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with a willingness to mentor and support team members.

• Preferred: Experience working on projects for UK-based architects or a strong understanding of UK architectural standards and regulations.

• Familiarity with other BIM software and collaborative platforms is a plus.
