1. Production Planning:
- Develop and implement production plans to meet our sale demands and deadlines.
- Maintain a detailed record of each production request, including specifications, deadlines, and any special requirements.
- Oversee yarn purchasing, knitting, dyeing, printing, sampling, production processes, and inspection.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Monitor and track the progress of production programs and take necessary actions to address any issues or delays.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to address any issues or delays that may arise during the production process.
2. Production Management:
- Oversee sampling, production processes, and inspection.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and components.
- Monitor and track the progress of production programs and take necessary actions to address any issues or delays.
3. Sourcing execution:
- Analyse new product request from R&D team and start end-to-end sourcing projects including product match assessment, price negotiations, contracts.
- Follow up sourcing activities to ensure on-time delivery of orders.
- Keep tracking on sale volume of the product and proactively expand sourcing scope to ensure capability of order fulfillment from suppliers.
4. Supplier Identification & Evaluation:
- Source potential suppliers/factories in China through market research and network outreach.
- Develop criteria for vetting new suppliers on production capabilities, quality systems, lead times, etc.
- Assess supplier facilities and conduct capability audits.
- A degree in business administration, management, project management, or a related field is commonly required.
- Familiar with task management tools like Asana, Jira
- Have experience in Industry like textile, garment, apparel manufacture
- English communication is required
- Chinese communication is a huge advantage
- Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable
terms and conditions, achieving optimal pricing, quality, and delivery
schedules.
- Communication: Effectively communicate with internal teams and
external partners, clearly conveying product requirements, updates,
and changes to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Task Management: Coordinate and manage multiple tasks and
projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are
aligned with business objectives.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data-driven insights to make informed
decisions, identify trends, and optimize procurement strategies.
Analyze performance metrics to drive improvements and efficiency.
- Problem-Solving: Apply critical thinking skills to address and resolve
issues that arise in the supply chain, from procurement to delivery,
ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Adaptability: Navigate and excel in an ambiguous and fast-paced
working environment, demonstrating flexibility.
