Operations Quality partner working with representatives from the following functions: Engineering, Manufacturing and Manufacturing Engineering, Program Management, and Supply Chain and other functional areas. Reporting to the Quality Director. The person is responsible for the development and implementation of the VinFast Operations Quality Strategy and System, and Operations Quality processes and procedures for all VinFast manufacturing activities.
• Lead the Quality Assurance activities from concept through launch and the customer ownership experience
• Ensure that the VinGroup develops and delivers vehicles that the public wants to purchase and own (no boring vehicles)
• Ensure that all programs meet the three measures of a successful vehicle launch: on time, excellent quality and meeting and/or exceeding program targets.
• Develop and implement VinGroup Quality Assurance Strategy and System and Quality Assurance processes and procedures
• Select, develop and train the Quality Assurance Team Members to effectively execute the quality assurance and assembly plant quality systems and processes to achieve both internal and external quality goals. Establish people development as a core value to develop future leaders to achieve sustainable, continuous improvement.
• Maintain and improve an effective and efficient problem-solving system process to help ensure a culture of rapid resolution of issues.
• Use appropriate analytical methods to identify and prioritise opportunities for continuous improvement in both manufacturing processes and business systems.
• Pro-actively champion continuous quality improvement initiatives cross-functionally.
• Ensure QMS quality system is deployed synchronously between factories
• All factories use common standards for VCA and add additional specific requirements of the markets
• Ensure QMS System compatibility between factories
• Implement the best practice activities to all factories (LLC)
• VinFast Excellent System deployment
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business at a minimum
• Strong ability to grasp and effectively use technical concepts and technical information.
• Extensive understanding and experience in automotive technology and electronic systems, particularly quality assurance and/or quality engineering.
• Extensive experience and knowledge of Continuous Improvement methodologies applicable to automotive and/or electronics manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience in automotive and/or electronics manufacturing systems.
• Highly motivated, self-starter, and active learner with strong interpersonal skills.
• Expertise and experience in developing and implementing successful Quality Strategies, Systems, Processes and Procedures in the Product Development Quality area of the business.
• Knowledge and experience in application of statistical methods for manufacturing process control and continuous improvement.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
• Preferable to have Bachelors or advanced degrees in engineering
• Good negotiation and interpersonal skills
• Very self- confident, precise and well organized person
• Ability to work under high pressure
• Fluent English communication is a plus
